Hi, I’m Hummingbird! I love creating imaginative, practical resources to help leaders bring adventure, creativity and confidence into their meetings. From challenge packs and planning tools to storytelling projects and inspiration hubs, everything here is designed to support busy volunteers and spark new ideas.
Trefoil Tales
A personal archive and a shared database of Girlguiding badges. I began this project after being asked to help identify some badges, and soon found myself captivated by the stories they hold. What started as a way to keep track of my collection has grown into a resource to help others uncover the origins behind these badges.
Keeping the Adventure Alive
At Hummingbird HQ, the goal is to keep resources free, accessible and available to leaders nationwide after a challenging period for my own unit, when rising costs and uncertainty around meeting spaces made it clear how fragile access to guiding activities can be. That experience shaped a commitment to sharing resources openly so that more leaders can be supported without added cost or barriers. Every donation, big or small, helps keep Hummingbird HQ running and enables the creation and sharing of new, free resources with leaders everywhere.
